Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 9 August 2026
Welcome to MMC Babywear. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website and to any purchases made through our online store.
By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing your order.
1. About Us
MMC Babywear is an online business specialising in personalised and embroidered baby and children’s clothing.
Throughout these Terms & Conditions, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to MMC Babywear. “You” and “your” refer to the customer using our website or placing an order with us.
2. Products
We make every effort to ensure that product photographs, descriptions and colours displayed on our website are as accurate as possible. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your device or screen settings.
Some of our products are personalised or made to order. Because these items are individually produced, there may be very minor variations in embroidery, printing, positioning or appearance.
Please check the product description carefully before placing your order, including available sizes, colours and personalisation options.
3. Personalised Orders
It is your responsibility to ensure that all personalisation details provided at checkout are correct, including names, spelling, dates, initials and any other information.
We will use the information exactly as provided by you.
We cannot accept responsibility for spelling mistakes or incorrect information supplied by the customer.
Where possible, please check your order confirmation immediately after placing your order and contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error.
Because personalised items are made specifically for you, personalised products cannot normally be cancelled or returned simply because you have changed your mind once production has begun.
This does not affect your statutory rights where an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.
4. Placing an Order
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected.
After placing your order, you should receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.
We reserve the right to cancel an order where, for example, an item is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing error, or we are unable to fulfil the order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, you will receive a full refund.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices displayed on our website are shown in GBP (£).
Payment must be made in full when placing your order.
We accept the payment methods made available through our Shopify checkout.
We reserve the right to change product prices at any time. Any price change will not affect an order that has already been confirmed.
6. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within the processing time stated on the relevant product listing.
Personalised and embroidered items may require additional processing time because they are made specifically for each customer.
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed unless specifically stated otherwise.
Once your order has been dispatched, delivery is handled by the chosen postal or courier service. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services, severe weather, strikes, incorrect addresses supplied by the customer or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Please ensure that the delivery address provided at checkout is correct.
If an order is returned to us because an incorrect or incomplete address was provided, additional postage may be required before we can resend it.
7. Returns and Cancellations
We accept returns for up to 14 days after date of purchase.
This does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised.
For non-personalised items, if you wish to cancel your order or return an item, please contact us as soon as possible.
Returned items must be unused, unworn and in their original condition, unless the item is being returned because it is faulty or incorrect.
The cost of returning an item because you have changed your mind will be down to yourself (the customer).
Returns can take up to 7 days to process and reach your bank account.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
We take great care when preparing every order.
If your item arrives faulty, damaged or is not the item you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible with details of the issue and, where appropriate, photographs.
We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your legal rights.
Please do not return a faulty or incorrect item before contacting us unless we have asked you to do so.
9. Personalised and Embroidered Products
Our personalised and embroidered products are individually made to order.
Due to the nature of embroidery and printing, very small differences in positioning, stitching or appearance can occur and do not necessarily constitute a fault.
We will always aim to produce your item to a high standard and as closely as possible to the product photographs and description.
10. Children’s Clothing
Please check the size guide and product information before ordering.
Our clothing should always be used in accordance with the manufacturer’s care instructions.
Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that clothing is suitable for the child and that any decorative or personalised elements are used appropriately.
11. Product Care
Please follow the care instructions provided with your item.
Personalised and embroidered clothing may require additional care to help preserve the design.
We cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by failure to follow the recommended care instructions, including unsuitable washing, drying, ironing or other treatment.
12. Website Use
You agree not to misuse our website or attempt to interfere with its normal operation.
All content on this website, including photographs, product descriptions, logos, branding, designs and written content, belongs to MMC Babywear or is used with appropriate permission.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or use our content or designs for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
13. Intellectual Property
The MMC Babywear name, branding, logos, photographs, product designs and original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Personalised designs created for customers remain subject to our intellectual property rights unless otherwise agreed.
We reserve the right to use photographs of completed products for promotional purposes where appropriate, unless you have specifically asked us not to use your order for marketing purposes.
14. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on our website is accurate and up to date.
However, we do not guarantee that the website will always be available, error-free or free from technical issues.
We reserve the right to update, change or remove website content, products and prices without prior notice.
15. Events Outside Our Control
We will not be responsible for failure or delay in fulfilling an order where this is caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
This may include postal delays, courier disruption, strikes, severe weather, natural disasters, power or internet failures, supplier issues or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
16. Privacy
Any personal information provided when placing an order will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We only use customer information as necessary to process orders, provide our services, communicate with customers and meet our legal obligations.
17. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
We are not responsible for losses that result from circumstances outside our reasonable control or from the customer’s failure to follow product instructions or provide accurate information.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your legal rights as a consumer.
18. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Any changes will be posted on this page and the updated date will be shown at the top.
Your continued use of the website after changes have been published means that the updated Terms & Conditions will apply to future orders.
19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.
Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions will be subject to the applicable courts and laws of Scotland, subject to your statutory consumer rights.
20. Contact Us
